Overview

14NiCrMo13-4

1.6657

Alloy SteelCase Hardening

High-nickel case-hardening steel for heavily loaded large gears, shafts, and drivetrain components. Excellent core toughness with case hardness up to 62 HRC after carburizing. The high nickel content (3.0–3.5%) provides superior impact resistance even at low temperatures. Standard material for wind turbine gearboxes, heavy-duty industrial gears, and aerospace transmissions. Also known as EN36C (BS) and similar to SAE 9310.

EN-GJS-600-3

5.3201

Alloy Steelductile_cast_iron

Mainly pearlitic ductile cast iron with minimum tensile strength 600 MPa and minimum elongation 3%. High-strength grade achieved through predominantly pearlitic matrix, often with Cu or Sn additions as pearlite stabilizers. Used for camshafts, gears, high-stress housings, heavy-duty hydraulic components, press frames, and load-bearing structural castings where high strength is more important than ductility. Equivalent to DIN GGG60, JIS FCD600.
