1.0986High yield strength thermomechanically rolled steel for cold forming with minimum yield strength 550 MPa. The highest alloy quality grade in EN 10149-2 (grades above 550 are alloy special steels). Fine-grained microstructure provides excellent cold bending, folding, and flanging properties. Used for automotive chassis components, crane booms, trailer frames, agricultural machinery, and structural cold-formed sections.
