S600MC
1.8969High yield strength alloy special steel for cold forming with minimum yield strength 600 MPa. Thermomechanically rolled. Classified as alloy special steel per EN 10020 (unlike S550MC and below which are alloy quality steels). Used for demanding automotive structural components, heavy-duty trailer and truck chassis, crane and lifting equipment, and mining machinery where high strength with cold formability is critical.

14NiCrMo13-4
1.6657High-nickel case-hardening steel for heavily loaded large gears, shafts, and drivetrain components. Excellent core toughness with case hardness up to 62 HRC after carburizing. The high nickel content (3.0–3.5%) provides superior impact resistance even at low temperatures. Standard material for wind turbine gearboxes, heavy-duty industrial gears, and aerospace transmissions. Also known as EN36C (BS) and similar to SAE 9310.
